As lethargic as the activity has been on this blog for the past few months, I'm pleased and surprised to be writing the 200th post. I am going to use this opportunity to ask everyone what their summer (and beyond) plans are. Some of you are well out of school, some just graduated, and others are still making their way through BBC, but it would be nice to know what all are up to. Christa and I are, as most of you know, living in the San Diego area and going to Westminster Seminary, enrolled in the Master of Divinity program. This summer will be busy and varied. I will be working basically three part-time jobs: construction with some guys from school, Audio/Visual assistant at Westminster, and my job at our churching leading all the music stuff. I'm also an intern at my church -- I have to log many and varied internship hours for school over the next few years. I have two other large tasks I hope to accomplish this summer. I will hopefully get about 1,000 pages of reading done for school and pleasure. I'm also trying to finish up a record I've been working on for a few months. My hope is to get it done and out before the Fall, but we'll see; there's lots still to do. Christa (Honorary Chamber Singer by matrimony!) will continue working at the seminary as the Admissions Coordinator. She enjoys working there, which is great. It stinks though because summer comes along and everyone (faculty and students) get the summer off, but administration has to keep working. Hard to believe, we are celebrating our 3 year anniversary tomorrow!
So I hope everyone who can will take the time to respond with their plans, either by commenting on this post or by creating your own post.

Happy 3rd anniversary! It was a happy day. Thanks for letting me be a part of it.
200 posts! May the virtual circle continue to live long and prosper. What about the rest of you guys? What are your plans?
Our day included:
1. Attendance at the Memorial Day Parade in Clarks Summit, PA., which included a parade cast of veterans, antique cars, horses, and fundamental Baptist Churches advertising their upcoming DVBS's. We also paddled boats and swam at the Lackawanna State Park.
Tonight the plans are to eat with the fam. at Panera Bread before taking in a 3rd movie about the life and loves of a green ogre.
I have you all in my heart!

Thanks Doc! We celebrated today by me taking a Greek exam only to come home to study for tomorrow morning's Latin exam... We'll just have to celebrate after the fact.
How was Shrek 3?
BTW, in the post I said Christa and I are enrolled in the M.Div. program; in case any of you are worried that my wife is planning to become a pastor, I should clarify: I meant to say that just I am enrolled in the M.Div program! :)

Matt, you're studying to show yourself an unashamed workman approved by God. Yes and amen for your desires to know God intimately and make Him known publicly.
We should all treasure the Godward desires the Father has placed within us. The will [that which the mind chooses] always follows what it considers the greatest good. And since we are by nature [consist] children of wrath, it is a miraculous pleasure now as partakers of the divine nature to "love and choose holiness . . . to love an infinitely holy Being . . . [and] to choose and cleave to him as [our] chief good." TFOTW, p. 29.
Shrek 3 - hmm, well it was clever in the sense of having seen clever twice before. Not much new [derivative]; however the Triquetras ornamenting the ship near the end of the movie caught my attention.

I think I win, I spent the day listening to Piper speak on the two things that please God the most, Himself and Himself, and worshipping our Creator with 3000 other Christians. It was quite a good day. It's great to hear from you all. My prayers are with you as you seek to glorify God in your bodies and souls.

Marci and I are celebrating our 2nd anniversary in just a few weeks. It's amazing how fast time has flown!
We are spending most of our time staring into the eyes of our beautiful baby Lilly. She was born on April 24 and she's SO tiny.
This summer I am looking for new employment in the music education field. Sales has grown old very fast and a change would be welcome. Surely God will provide opportunities in His time.
